Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival

Our driver welcomes you at the Noi Bai airport and take you to hotel. Relax and enjoy your free time after a long journey.
As the capital of Vietnam for almost a thousand years, Hanoi is considered as the cultural centre of Vietnam, where every dynasty left their imprint behind. Even some relics does not survived through wars and time, still remain many interesting cultural and historic monuments.

Overnight in hotel in Hanoi.  Enjoy your free night exploring this charming city.

 

Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay 

Have breakfast at hotel

PROGRAM WITH HALONG BAY CRUISE (customize up to different cruise)   

08.00: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields in the Red River Delta on shuttle bus

10.00: Stop on the way for a refreshment break

12.00: Arrive at Tuan Chau wharf

12.30: Board cruises for departure. Welcome drink will be served

13.00: Lunch is served while cruising through the bay

15.30: Visit exciting Cua Van floating fishing village. The village is free of busy roads and streets, electric lights, houses and high rise buildings.

Instead, there are only herds of little boats and rafts. You will have the chance to discover the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen.

16.30: Enjoy kayaking or swimming (if the weather permits)

17.00: Back on board and continue cruising to Drum Cave (Hang Trong) to dock.

19.00: Dinner is served.

21.00: Take some leisure time to enjoy chatting at the bar or enjoy some night fishing.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi,

07.00: Coffee and tea will be served along with breakfast

08.15: Visit splendid Sung Sot Cave

09.00: Check out and  enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay, passing Dinh Huong Island, fishing villages, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island.

09.30: Buffet brunch while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier

11.30: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye  to the crew.

12.00: Return from Halong to Hanoi on shuttle bus

14.00: Stop over in Dong Trieu town to visit a ceramics workshop.

17.00: Arrive at hotel in Hanoi.

 

Day 4: Hanoi – Fullday city  tour – Flight to Danang – Hoian

08:30am: After breakfast at hotel, join with tour guide for a full day city tour. Tour starts with Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam and the impressive Ethnologic Museum (closed on every Monday), dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Continue trip to Hoa Lo Prison, once called “Hell in the Earth”, which was used by the French colonists to sentence Vietnamese political prisoners. Morning session ends with a nice lunch at restaurant.

After lunch time, visit the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with Ngoc Son temple. If time permits, have a walk around Old Quarter (cyclo is optional) or stop at Thang Long theater for one hour Water Puppets shows. After the show, directly transfer to the airport for late afternoon flight to Danang. On arrival, your driver pick-up you from the Danang airport, transfer (no guide) to your hotel in Hoian. Overnight in your hotel in Hoian.

 

Day 5: Half day visit My Son hollyland – half day visit Hoian ancient town

08:00am: After breakfast, tour guide will welcome you at hotel and take you to My Son – one of the most stunning sights in the Hoi An area. My Son is Vietnam’s most important Cham site, and as of 2000 a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the centuries when Tra Kieu (also known as Simhapura) served as the political capital of Champa, My Son was the site of the most important Cham intellectual and religious centre, and also may has served as burial place for Cham monarchs. My Son is considered to be Champa’s counterpart and influenced by Indian civilisation like other South Asian cities like Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan (Myanmar), Ayuthaya (Thailand) and Borobudur (Java).

Continue your trip by coming back to Hoian and explore Hoian charming town by yourself.

Day 6: Hoian – drive to Hue via Hai Van pass – Hue city

After breakfast our guide will pick you up and take you to Hue. You will be amazed while travelling through Hai Van pass and Lang Co beach – one of the most beautiful beach of Vietnam.

Arrive at Hue in noon. Check in hotel and enjoy your free time. In the afternoon, enjoy your half day city tour with Imperial Citadel of Hue, tombs of King Tu Duc and King Minh Mang (typical formal oriental style designed). Explore the ancient imperial citadel and have a good night in Hue hotel.

 

Day 7: Half day visit Hue – fly to Ho Chi Minh – half day sightseeing in Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast in hotel, depart for a scenic boat trip in Perfume River. Pass by Thien Mu pagoda by river side and listen to “ca Huế”, Hue’s traditional music. Finishing your schedule in this imperial citadel by a noon flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Say goodbye to staff in Center of Vietnam. Our driver in Ho Chi Minh city will drive you to hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong Delta (Cai Be floating market) – Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh transfer to Cai Be.

This trip provides a look at a wide variety of the life and scenery of the Delta. On the way to Cai Be, you can see green rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. After arriving, a boat takes you to the floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats.

Next, a boat rides on the maze of shady canals visiting the An Binh islands (Vinh Long). We will enjoy the local tropical fruits and see how local people cultivate their orchards, make their living from ceramics, popcorn and rice paper. A nice chance for bicycle riding, roaming through the village and looking at the local handicraft shops.

A stop will be landed on Vinh Long market a nice walk around.  Arrive at hotel Ho Chi Minh around 4:30pm.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi tunnels – Tay Ninh – Ho Chi Minh City

After your breakfast at hotel, drive a long way on the country side of Vietnam to Tay Ninh, 100 km from Ho Chi Minh city. On arrival to the head quarter of Cao Dai religious, you will have chance to witness the daily ceremony at Cao Dai Holy See, and meet followers come to attend the ceremony while wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity and Buddhism.

Continue the trip to Cu Chi, visit the incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure, car only (B)

Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure.
